I really like this tape. It definitely is all cardio.
With the exception of a few motivational talks from Billy in
this tape which give you a breather, I'd say this tape is as aerobic as
the old AL3. It's more upbeat and fun than AL3 in my opinion.
It must have been taped about the same time as AL6(?) I think
because it has the same people (the two redheads and the woman
who looks like Lucy Liu).
The tape starts and ends with good stretching and
is filled with aerobics, with some tough balancing near
the end. Billy sings and has the class do some dancing.
There were at least 3 new moves: (1) three jabs moving
to one side, followed by a cross, then a 3
count speed bag then a cross (or
jab?), then repeat the move moving backwards; 2) 4 cross
the body punches, followed by 3 jabs moving
to one side followed by a cross then move the jabs backwards,
then cross, then 4 cross the body punches; when it turns to double
time, the cross the body punches become two double jabs or
crosses to each side; and (3) two cross steps (ex.
with the right leg), followed by a knee raise and roundhouse
on the opposite leg (ex., with the left leg). The new moves are
a lot of fun. All in all this is a fun, aerobic tape. I will
do it as often as I do AL6, AL8, AL3, and AL4. It's that good.
The music is Heaven Must Have Sent You; Party Time;
Vacation; On the Dark Side; and Shake It.
