#1 (TBTV #17): Warm up suit over V-neck Lime shirt blue tights with white stripe. Unique work-out including a lot of cardio but no floor nor standing ab work perhaps, too many front kicks. Starts out with a lot of good stretching (warm-up on your own first). Cardio had a lot of new stuff or old stuff done in new ways to keep it interesting especially lunge combos. The last 15 minutes was intense nonstop cardio, then unique arm work (as good as lifting weights) then good stretching.
#2 (TBTV #18): Black warm-up jacket over powder blue V-neck. Black tights with blue stripe cap. Starts out as do-able but becomes almost brutal with lots of intense power moves (no floor). Longer good warm-up stretch. Cardio had some new things like a rotating guard stance and a lunge-hi/lo jab, the brutal push-up/cross body power move an intense straddle with biceps. Finished with a decent stretch.
#3 (TBTV #19): Yellow low V sheck tank & Black capris with white & yellow stripes. Based on visual review only (will try it tomorrow). Warm up was short and followed by a very good opening stretch. (I would repeat this beginning just to follow a work-out lacking ending stretches). As the above basic felt more like a short advanced work-out, this one seemed more like a long basic work-out in its pace except for a couple of tough power moves & extensive thigh burning cross body combos. Most sets were short with a lot of walking it out and not too much double time. My main lack of enthusiasm is not too much new stuff & too many jabs & cross body combos but I do like the attempt to have an advanced work-out slowed down & the lunge work looked do-able (but do remember to work each side). Cool down was routine with just a short stretch. A good longer intermediate work-out, not needing much modification.
#4(TBTV #20): Black &yellow warm up jacket over peach V-neck & blue tights with peach stripe. Good but tough overall work-out; but mostly old stuff. Short warm-up then good stretches & PUSHUPS. Cardio fast paced with a lot of lunge moves including a lo-hi jab while lunging. A lot of ab standing floor work near the end of cardio which then ends with intense cardio. Just as the cool down starts, Billy gives a new power move similar to the one in #19 but on both sides (leg in while lunging, push-ups, crunches, etc). Some good stretching in the real cool down.
#5(TBTV #21): Powder Blue scooped V-neck & blue tights with white stripe, cap as an intermediate work-out. Starts with a combination warm-up and stretch then initially routine cardio but then Billy starts throwing in a lot of new variations of old moves. Some of the new stuff were 3 back fists then an uppercut, switching guard squat instead of corner-to-corner jabs, & lots of fancy footwork. Ends with a little standing ab work and a decent stretch. Enough new stuff to make it fun and a very do-able pace but some Adv folks may not find it challenging enough.
#6 (TBTV #22): Yellow V-neck & black tights with white & yellow stripes. Two starts, if unmodified because pace is too quick with little walking-out & most new stuff is lost in short sets & trying to catch a breath. Routine warm-up & stretch. Cardio had about 3 new moves but nothing to rave about including a double fly then opposite knee raise, a one-two punch then swivel stomp, & a one-two punch then twist twist twist. Both standing ab/butt work in the middle & short floo rwork near the end. Cool down was routine & short there was a part where Billy swivels Shellie around and she stays that way awhile making it easier to follow Billy's moves mirror fashion, making me wish someone was doing the work-out backwards the whole time for reference in all work-outs. After slowing down previous Advance work-outs a bit, Billy returns to going too hard and fast thru-out this one for my target heart rate zone, making me do this one modified thru-out. Near the end he says "now some more cardio" ... Hello, but this whole work-out is almost nonstop cardio!!!
#7 (TBTV #23): Yellow Scoop V-neck tank & loose lime shorts with letters & stars. Sweating to the Oldies or Cardio, Cardio, Cardio. A warm-up that was more like cardio, then a little stretching then a lot of fast paced cardio with little walking-out. There was a new power move that included a squat/front kick & then a cardio drill (like this work-out needed one?) before the minimal Tai Chi cool down without any stretching. Oh one new move to work-on = spinning hook kick (spin to switch guard then roundhouse). Good work-out if you want to sweat a lot but not have much fun.
#8 (TBTV #24): Black jacket over yellow V-neck & dark blue capri tights with white stripe. Just enough new stuff to make it fun but a little too fast paced. Warm-up was different; warming up the lower body first then included push-ups followed by good stretching. The cardio was challenging both in pace, reps and learning new stuff. For example, there was a jab-cross-jab-cross, speedbag, walking jab-jab-jab-cross with a return to position walking laterally. Also great rotating arm work. Cardio ended with butt and abs on the floor including new ab stuff (deja view of yoga lady pretzel positions), finishing with some isometric stretching while still on the floor in torpedo position. My only complaint was the speed was again too fast but easily done half time. This was a work-out worthy of being the last TBTV Advanced work-out.
